Jr. Network Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project and operational requirements.
- Install and configure systems such as supports core, financial software and core operational infrastructure applications.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Contribute to and maintain systems standards.
- Perform data restores in a Unix environment.
- Research and recommend innovative, and when possible automated approaches for system administrative tasks.
- Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
- Perform daily system monitoring verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
- Perform daily back up operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or discs are created and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request for all software.
- Repair and recover from all hardware software failures, communicate issues with all constituents.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis based on the recommendation the Safety Officer, and upgrade administrative tools.
- Upgrade and configure software that supports infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project.
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Maintain data center environmental and monitor equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and completion of Help Desk issues.
IT Services and Support Sales Position
We are currently seeking an outside sales person to expand our IT services department by selling modern computing solutions to small and medium businesses (SMB) in our market area. Supported by direct marketing campaigns, as needed, the person in this position be responsible for generating new business; nurturing leads and helping senior-level prospects to see the value of the CTS Services, Inc. • Developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation opportunities
• Using a consultative sales approach, conduct proposals to C-Level Executives
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5+ years of outside B2B sales experience preferred
• “Hunter” Sales mentality
• IT industry experience a plus
• Tigerpaw CRM experience a plus.
